This is like asking me who my favorite author is. LOL. I LOVED Damon. ;) Then there is Alex or was it Rafe from Bron's outback series. It may have been both. LOL. Don't have the book right here in front of me. I could keep going. ;)
Misty
I think Roarke from J.D. Robb's In Death series is the perfect hero!
My very favorite hero ever is J.D. Holt in "A Cowboy's Secret" by Anne McAllister. I've re-read passages in that book a great many times. I guess I liked that the character was written as such an Alpha yet he could also be tender and compassionate toward the heroine.
I really liked Brendan Reilly from Anne Marie Winston's Holiday Confessions. Even though he was blind, he still lived a full and rich life. He didn't let his blindness deter him. For this I admire him. (not to mention he is described as super sexy.)
Please don't enter me in the drawing as I have the book and I have already won. You have some other wonderful posters that deserve more of a shot. See at eharlequin.
My favorite hero is Lisa Kleypas' Derek Craven.
Roarke is definitely my favorite!
Jamie Fraser from Diane Gabaldon's Outlander.
I liked Kate Walker's Joaquin Alcolar.
i guess rick addison from suzanne enoch romantic suspense books. he is so cool and loves his woman. would do anything for her.
Thanks for the great party Tessa! I would chose Sebastian, Lord St. Vincent from The Devil in Winter by Lisa Kleypas.
A hero whom I think is the ultimate is Lucas, Lord Ashton.
That's a hard one to pick, I have some many.Gabriel from A Secret Love- Stephanie Laurens.
I just finished The Balck Widow- it was great..
well done Tessa! Great party, looking forward to reading your book when this ms is done...!
x Abby
@I have to say Iain from Julie Garwood's "The Secret". Thanks for all the chances at winning books.
Aimery is the hero of all time. Wonderful.
Carol, Minna, Little Lamb Lost - Jamie Fraser and Roarke have become such icons, I'm not surprised to see their names cropping up here!
Misty - thank you :-). To be mentioned in the same breat as Bron is awesome. I love her books, her guys! I have a very soft spot for the bad boy in Addicted to Nick.
cas2ajs - one of cp's absolutely loves Ann McAllister. She doesn't have 'keepers' - but she keeps Anne McAllister's books! Now she's gotten me hooked on Anne's cowboys.
Christa, I haven't got that Desire - I'm off to hunt it out. I used to read a lot of 'wounded/scarred' hero books...but now that I think about it I haven't seen that many around lately...
Wow, a lot of favorite heroes from historicals...Lisa Kleypas, Julie Garwood, Stephanie Laurens,...is that because those guys are so much larger than life? The Duke of Claymore in Whitney, My Love has to be one of my all time favorites...
Principessa, Lucus, Lord Ashton is from Tempt Me by Lucy Monroe, right? I've got that on my TBR pile.
Anne, I don't think I've read Aimery's story...who's the author?
Mona - Kate writes wonderful alpha heroes...I've got At the Sheikh's Command sitting in my TBR pile. I wanted to get my sheikh book turned in before I started reading that. I think it's time for a sheikh fest now. I want to read about Annie West's two sheikhs and Liz Fielding recently had a sheikh story out that I have to, have to read.
Kim H - I enjoyed Rick Addison too. Samantha is a great heroine, feisty but feminine. I enjoyed these stories so much that I've vowed to go dig out Suzanne Enoch's historicals.
Abby, I've got you Chosen As The Frencman's Bride sitting on my TBR pile. It's next up to read :-)
Thanks for coming along to party, party, party!
My favorite hero at the moment is Jake Rawlings from Helen Brenna's Treasure. Enjoyed the party and continued success!
Tetewa, now TREASURE is another book I have in my TBR pile. I LOVE treasure hunter stories, so I can't wait to read it!
Tessa
Robert Knight, Duke of Hawkcliffe. Gaelen Foley's novel The Duke. Wonderful.
That's a tough one. I guess I would have to say Royce from The Prize by Julie Garwood. Thanks for a wonderful party Tessa!
My favorite hero is Sebastian, Lord St. Vincent, in Devil in Winter. Thanks for the party.
Tessa it was a Nov. 2006 and it's still available at eharlequin
A big thanks to you, Tessa! It's been so much fun. I wish you a ton of success with your book.
My favorite hero is Roarke. He's so hot, mysterious and very memorable. Oh, and he's wealthy, too. That adds just a wee bit of appeal. lol
Thanks for inviting all of us to help celebrate with you! I wish you all the best and cannot wait to read your newest book Black Widow Bride which sounds fabulous!
As for a hero thats a favorite of mine..thats a hard pick. There are so many to pick from. But I guess right now Baron Duncan of Wexton, the Wolf of Julie Garwood's "Honor's Splendour" comes to mind.
i like sinclair , from the betsy vampire series
might not be 110% hero
not sure how i missed thie week of partying!
b
Roarke from the Eve Dallas series. What a stupendous prize!
Tessa told me that someone mentione done of my heroes - so I'm just dropping by to say thank you Mona!
hen the Alcolar Family trilogy first came out, readers were fairly evenly split between those who thought that Joaquin was their favourite hero - and those who voted for Ramon. I loved them both!
cas2ajs - I love Anne McAllister's heroes too. And she's a very dear friend of mine. I'll tell her what you said about J.D. She'll be sp pleased
Thank you to everyone for contributing - there are some great heroes here. Hmmm - I don't have time to add to my TBR pile, but . . .
Thanks for a great blog party Tessa! Wishing you every success with the book. Can't wait to read it
Kate
Historical heroes definitely have something going for them. More votes for Lisa Kleypas...Julie Garwood and also for Gaelen Foley.
More votes for Roarke - wow, that guy is popular!
Welcome, Black rose. You might want to join my newsletter - then you'll get advance warning next time *g*.
Thanks ladyvampire...Kate glad you popped in...and Christa, I'll go look for it. Checked my TBR pile and I definitely don't have it.
Thank you all for joining me this week. I've had a WONDERFUL time.
Tessa
Hi Tessa,
Favortie hero??
How about Rhage from Lover Eternal...
He was truly a great Alpha H!
:)
Tammy
Hey Kate,
I'm almost done with the 3 Alcolar. One super series that worth waiting for. I should be saying thank you:)
Hmmm....I have a real thing about Kate Walker's Ramon from the Alcolar Family series...as Kate knows, because I mention him often.
My favourite hero of all time is Cyrano de Bergerac. What can I say, I have a weakness for tragic rhyming swordsmen with huge...noses.
Great party, Tessa--I have really enjoyed reading the posts and comments. I haven't left many because of the baby being in my arms most of the time (hence difficult to type) but I think this was a fantastic idea. Congratulations once again!
I love Zsadist from Lover Awakened by J.R Ward.
This is definitely a tough one. My overall favorite is Roarke.
Hi Tessa
Great party. Did you put any leftover chocolate and champange to good use?
Thanks all every one for coming! Christa - my waistline is expanding...*g*
Julie, I'm laughing at the visual with the babe in arms!
